About Q.No.1
Charles Babbage designed a mechanical calculator Difference Engine and was awarded for this invention. This success inspired him to design an even more powerful computer Analytical Engine. Though he completed the design of Analytical Engine (proved after 100 years after he died) he could never build that engine due to the lack of technological advancement and funding.
About Q. No. 14
Joseph Jacquard designed an automated solution in designing patters in weaving loom using a series of punched paper cards. This loom could create patterns automatically after the designed punched cards provided.
We study this in computer science because later Dr. Herman Hollerith used a similar method to feed data in his Tabulating Machine for census data processing.
About Q.No.19
Microprocessor was invented by "Ted" Huff. You can find more about him here.
