Microsoft Windows - How to fit a small image to cover the desktop as wallpaper

E-mail Print PDF
If your image is smaller than the area available in desktop background you have two different options – stretch the image or tile the image so that whole area of your desktop is covered.

  1. Open Display Properties dialog box (Control Panel >> Display)
  2. From Position drop down list choose Tile to repeat the same image multiple times to cover the desktop or choose Stretch to enlarge the image to cover the desktop area.

Low quality small image if stretched might look rough.
